SkillDon Instructor Terms and Conditions
Welcome to SkillDon, an e-learning training platform. By registering as a trainer on our portal (www.skilldon.com), you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before registering.
- Acceptance of Terms
By registering as a trainer on SkillDon, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not register or use the platform as a trainer.
- Registration and Account
- Eligibility: Trainers must relevant experience in specific domain to register and must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- Account Security: Trainers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login information and for all activities that occur under their account.
- Verification: SkillDon reserves the right to verify the identity and qualifications of trainers at any time. Failure to provide accurate information may result in suspension or termination of the trainer’s account.
- Content and Course Material
- Ownership: Trainers retain ownership of the content they create and upload to SkillDon. However, by uploading content, trainers grant SkillDon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform, and publicly display such content.
- Quality Standards: Trainers agree to create and deliver high-quality educational content that meets the standards set by SkillDon. SkillDon reserves the right to remove any content that does not meet these standards.
- Intellectual Property: Trainers must ensure that their content does not infringe upon any intellectual property rights of others. Trainers are solely responsible for any infringement claims related to their content.
- Conduct and Obligations
- Professional Conduct: Trainers must conduct themselves in a professional manner and provide accurate and reliable information to students.
- Communication: Trainers are expected to respond to student inquiries and provide support in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Trainers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to intellectual property laws, privacy laws, and consumer protection laws.
- Payments and Fees
- Compensation: Trainers will be compensated based on the revenue generated from the courses they create and deliver.
- You will receive 50% share for every candidate registered to the course that you have uploaded.
- We use a third party payment provider – Razorpay.
- Taxes: Trainers are responsible for paying any taxes associated with their earnings from SkillDon.
- Refunds: In the event of a refund request by a student, SkillDon reserves the right to deduct the refunded amount from the trainer’s earnings.
- Termination
- Voluntary Termination: Trainers may terminate their account at any time by providing written notice to SkillDon.
- Involuntary Termination: SkillDon reserves the right to suspend or terminate a trainer’s account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms and conditions.
- Effect of Termination: Upon termination, trainers will lose access to their account and any content they have uploaded to the platform. SkillDon may retain and use the content for a reasonable period to fulfill any outstanding obligations.
- Limitation of Liability
SkillDon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to a trainer’s use of the platform. SkillDon’s total liability to trainers for any claims arising from or related to the platform is limited to the amount of fees paid to the trainer in the six months preceding the claim.
- Indemnification
Trainers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkillDon, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to a trainer’s use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
- Modifications to Terms
SkillDon reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Trainers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SkillDon operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
